This course was originally sponsored by the John Lewis Partnership for our 16 – 18 year old Academy Members. When the Academy
was disbanded in 2006 due to lack of funds, the course lapsed for a while.
Thanks to the support of the Jack Petchey Organisation
it is proposed to reinstate the course in May/June 2008.
The object of the course is to assist young people entering the job
market with their curriculum vitae and to guide them into how to present themselves at job interviews etc. and their responsibilities
to employers.
There is also an element of training in finance, budgets and other social responsibility.
Please contact the
Club Manager, Franklin Shillingford, for definitive starting dates in 2008.
